1. Data controller

The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the conditions of Art. 37 GDPR do not apply.

2. Data we process

Browsing data: the systems running the site collect technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of request, pages visited) needed for the site to work and stay secure.

Data you provide: through the contact form we collect name, email, company, country, service of interest, message and, optionally, indicative budget and website. The same applies to data in emails you send us.

Please do not include special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR) or criminal data in your message.

3. Purposes and legal bases

a) Answering contact and quote requests and handling pre-contractual discussions with prospective partners — legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

b) Operating and securing the site and preventing abuse and spam — legal basis: the Controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

c) Complying with legal obligations (e.g. tax, accounting) and defending legal claims — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

d) Statistical measurement of site usage, only if enabled and with your consent via the banner — legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.

We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making under Art. 22 GDPR, and we do not send marketing communications without your specific consent.

4. Whether providing data is mandatory

Fields marked as required are necessary for us to reply; without them we cannot handle your request. Optional fields may be left blank.

5. How data is processed and recipients

Data is processed electronically by authorised, trained staff with appropriate technical and organisational measures (Art. 32 GDPR), such as restricted access and encrypted connections.

Data may be shared with providers acting on our behalf as processors under Art. 28 GDPR (hosting, cloud infrastructure and database, email services, tax and legal advisors) and with public authorities where required by law.

Data is never published or sold to third parties.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers only take place to countries covered by an EU adequacy decision (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). You may request a copy from the Controller.

7. Retention

Contact requests not followed by a relationship: up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted or anonymised.

Data relating to contracts: for the duration of the relationship and then for 10 years for civil and tax obligations (Art. 2220 Italian Civil Code).

Technical browsing data: for as long as strictly needed for security, normally no longer than 12 months, unless required to investigate wrongdoing.

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR at any time: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdrawal of consent without affecting prior lawful processing.

To exercise them, write to hello@wasabimarketingstudio.com. We will reply within one month (extendable as provided by Art. 12 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.

9. Minors

The site is aimed at businesses and professionals and is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

The Controller may update this notice; the current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date. In case of discrepancy between language versions, the Italian text prevails.
